The Moka Pot
Good coffee doesn’t require a fancy machine.
This little stovetop moka pot is one of our favorite ways to make a strong, rich cup of coffee at home. It brews concentrated, full-bodied coffee using a classic stovetop method—perfect when you want something espresso-ish without owning an espresso machine.
Use it straight, add hot water for an Americano-style cup, pour it over ice, or add your favorite milk and syrup for an easy homemade latte.

How to Brew
1. Add water.
Fill the bottom chamber with water, staying below the safety valve.
2. Add coffee.
Fill the filter basket with ground coffee and level it off. Don't pack or tamp it down.
3. Assemble.
Place the basket into the bottom chamber and securely screw on the top.
4. Brew.
Place over low-to-medium heat. As the water heats, pressure pushes it through the coffee and brewed coffee begins collecting in the upper chamber.
5. Pour & enjoy.
Once the brew is finished, remove it from the heat and make your coffee however you like it.
Three 5 Six Tip: Moka pots like a grind that's finer than drip coffee but coarser than traditional espresso. And don't tamp it like espresso—just fill, level, and brew.
